Genieve Dawkins is the author of several award-winning children's books. Her newest book, "The Diary of the Amazing Ava", tells the story of a young girl named Ava who misses her mother so much she wishes she was still alive. To cope with her emotions, Ava begins working on her diary, writing about her feelings and thoughts as she goes. In the process, she learns about herself and has a magical adventure as well as helps others along the way.
